Tori Verville
Co-Owner/Director of Coaching
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

Sports, in general, have played an integral role in Tori’s life. A volleyball player since the age of 12, Tori was an NCAA DIII All-American setter at Thomas More College before graduating with Bachelor degrees in Biology and Psychology. During college, Tori began her coaching career — first in volleyball. Coaching has been a passion of hers for over 10 years; it was in 2013 that she found her love of CrossFit.

In 2015, Tori left Edgewood, KY and made the move south to Dallas. While coaching volleyball full-time, she soon found her “home” with the The Herd. It’s been Tori’s dream to combine her passion of coaching and love of CrossFit, and now, it’s her reality — enter CrossFit Bovine.

Jennifer Verville
Co-Owner/Director of Business and Marketing
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

Co-Owner/Dir. of Business & Marketing

Jennifer has always been a jack-of-all-trades. Jennifer competed as a 3-sport athlete in high school including volleyball, basketball, and track and earned a D1 scholarship as a Pole Vaulter for the University of Cincinnati Bearcats.  After graduating with Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2006, Jennifer enjoyed an on-air career as a sportscaster where she has since worked for NBC, Fox Sports Southwest, and the San Antonio Spurs.

After her stint on air, Jennifer found her niche in business. Jennifer’s resume covers the gamut of sales and marketing including radio, pharmaceuticals, and real estate rentals just to name a few.

While relatively new to CrossFit, Jennifer also has over 10 years of coaching experience under her belt. She’s passionate about helping her athletes improve their fitness and celebrating their athletic journeys. One of her goals for CrossFit Bovine is to get the KidsFit program of the ground and running.

Jessica Montemayor
CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

Moms’ Challenge Head Coach #strongasamother

Jessica has always been active throughout her life playing a wide array of sports including softball, basketball, and varsity golf. After receiving a Bachelors in Political Communication from the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 and her Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in 2010, Jessica returned to her roots in Dallas, Texas. Although she remained active in general, Jessica never seemed to find a niche in any one area of fitness until 2012 when she stepped into a Crossfit box for the first time and was immediately hooked.

While Jessica has enjoyed the competitive realm of Crossfit, her biggest passion for the program was derived from Crossfitting throughout her three pregnancies (in three years!) and using Crossfit as a means to gain back her strength and confidence post-partum.

Jessica has a passion for helping other women — specifically other moms — to view fitness as the much needed time in the day when they can do something for themselves. She firmly believes that the strength discovered in the box translates into the lives of mothers making them happier, healthier, and an all-around better version of themselves.
